No words can change or lessen the grief the family is feeling and my prayers are with his family as they try to understand and get through this storm. My grandmother shared this with me when several friends and family members passed away all off a sudden..."WHEN SOMEONE DIES, WHATEVER JOB GOD HAS GIVE THAT PERSON TO DO WHILE ON EARTH IS DONE AND IT'S TIME FOR THEM TO REST." You should not hold grudges. Make peace with those you have wronged or with those you feel have wronged you. Because once God calls them home, you can't go back.

With deep regrets for your lost, our prayers and thoughts are with you at all times. I know death is not easy to accept, but GOD must have needed another good person in his kingdom. Don't worry you will see Jamie again. With LOVE Al, Veronica and family.

I knew James personally, and it is still subreal that he is gone. I worked with him for several years in Juvenile Probation and he was one of the finest people you could ever know. I wish his daughter and his family my heart felt sympathy and the strength to move forward. Although James is gone, I will always remember the times we had together and the thanks for getting to spend some time with him in my life. He will not be forgotten.

To the Manor Family & the entire metropolitan police department. When I first heard the news of the accident & seen parts on tv with the truck on top of the police car,I said that police officer didn't have a chance, officer Manor was tall,so the rollover is deadly,I went to the scene & was in shock how violent a wreck it was. Officer Manor is in heaven now,I just want to cry,my heart goes out to the family,i did pay my respects at his viewing & once again I felt bad,it could be any of it happened too,I lost both my sons & you never stop grieving,& to metro I want to say, your officer did his job,God Bless the manors.

To be absent in this body is to be present with the Lord. Our prayers of strength and peace go out to the Manor Family. I also come from a large family and know for a fact how a loss such as this can affect the family. May God's love shelter his mother, daughter and the rest of the family as this cloud passes by.

We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to the Manor family, friends & comrades of this exemplary young officer, and human being. What a huge loss to our community, to lose such a young man,and a reminder of the dangers our police officers face on a daily basis! No value can be placed on the respect each member of a community should bear towards each other, and our protectors!

I would like to express my heart felt sympathy for a young man who truly was a mentor, leader, and all around great guy. I have heard and read many great things about him. He made many selfishless acts in this community and he will surely be missed. My family will continue to hold up Jayla and the entire Manor family up in prayer. I know many of his friends (including my sister) and I would just say to all, hold your memories close and always keep him in prayer as that will give you the strength you need to endure and keep him close. God Bless.

I knew Officer Manor. He coached my the Varsity football team at Western High School and he responded to many of my calls. I really want to say my prayers and thoughts are with his family and his other friends. LVMPD has lost one of the best officers they have. Our heroes can no longer speak, for destiny has claimed them. We love you brother

I only met James Manor once, when he came to my job to check on a patient, and yet he left a lasting impression on me. I remember him telling me that he worked for Metro, and I felt inspired and proud that a young black male was defying society's label. I graduated from UNLV on May 9th, with a degree in criminal justice, and I dedicate it to his memory. Your family is in my prayers, and may he rest in peace.

My deepest gradtitude goes out to the Manor family. This family was my nieghbors in the early ninties. The Manor Family are some of the most respectful and diligent people anyone would ever come across. This community doesn't know what we just lost, Jamie was one of a kind, and to be a fallen officer is devastating. We need more officers that represent who Jamie was.My support and love goes to the Manor family, people of genuine love.Iknow God has plans for us all and I know Jamie is now working diligently for our King. His character would always be remebered in the most upward and positive way. May God continue to work in the lives of his caring family and may God comfort every soul and show all who mourn that it's ok, cause Jamie love for people would now live through the spirits he touched that are now touching lives nationwide. I love you all. Be strong Manor family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Officer Manor's family. As a former member of law enforcement, I understand how hard this time can be. But, as it is said, "Heroes live forever." In our hearts and minds he will always be with us, as he will always be with you. I truly hope that soon the sun will warm your heart and ease your pain.
