Dear Jackson Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss of your son, brother, father, and uncle. I have experienced the lost of my 19 yr. old brother, my 18 year old uncle, and many of their friends on motorcycles as well as many of grampas and grammas. I truly feel the pain, and anger, and unknown that you all are feeling right now. I wish I were a counselor, or a close friend you could talk to about the loss you are sustaining right now. It is SO hard to deal with, but as much as you are angered or sorrowed about what has happened to Michael, there is always the Man upstairs you can talk to; he always understands. "We," the fans, as Ms. Janet said at the BET awards, are fans, you are the family! And that is all that matters. I truly wish that the "paparazzi" and the "media" in general would leave you all alone so that you may take the time you need to grieve; as if anyone else in the world would, when they lost a loved one. My Daddy and I, used to ride in the car when I was little, and when a Michael Jackson song came on; he used to say "I'll give you a quarter if you can name this song?!" :) I would ALWAYS name the song and describe the video or what Michael would be wearing or, something destinctive about the song. My Daddy used to say "Good Job baby girl!" LOL, but I never got my quarter! Even to the day before the KING OF POP passed away to the glorious heavens above; I listened to one or more, of Michael, or Janet's songs a day. And if I didn't, I was watching the new release of a video from someone in the Jackson family. Michael was above and beyond a gift from the heavens above! No other single human in this world will have the courage, or gift, to touch every human heart in the UNIVERSE like Michael did! Everyone in your family should be so greatful and so proud, that you were able to be the closest to PERFECTION as the brightest star in the sky would shine upon you all for eternity! Everyone says it just takes time to "get over the loss of a loved one". It does take time, but in the meantime, it takes patients, and crying by yourself in a dark room, or your car by yourself. The only thing time heals that is on your side, is voice. After so many years of losing a loved one, the voice you can usually hear from them dissipates. Fortunately, you will always be able to hear Michael speak, unlike the rest of us. Mourn without all the press in your face, love the fact that YOU TWO created the most wonderful human being with the most giving heart, FOR ME, be greatful that you had the most WONDERFUL brother in the world (because I don't have mine anymore) and NEVER EVER FORGET!!!!

Dear Jackson family, what can I say that hasn't already been said? Your family and Michael will never know our family, we are not from the entertainment field, we are not poor, or rich. We were not part of the fan club, and didn't have alot of money to go to the concerts and follow Michael closely. My son Justin and I are just one more family that loved Michael dearly. My son dances all of Michael's dance steps, and I have his CD in my car at all times. I cried today at home with my condolence letter from the staple center saying I was not picked. My son and I just sat on the couch and said to each other, WOW I wish we could have known him personally. I know we have him in our hearts always, but you were so blessed to have him as a family member, and like all the rest of the people I'd like to thank you for creating such a beautiful and talented family. Katherine Jackson is SUCH a wonderful and strong woman. If only I can live up to her ways as a mother I will have it made. Love always, Carla and Justin

I was just watching your telecast and I was just reminded how blind we can be of things that should be noticed when we focus on the negative of someone's life. To hear the young men to say that M.J. had such an impact on thier and that thier lives may have been different if it was not for M.J. is a good thing. I must admit, it is easy to focus on the drugs, the alledged pedofilia acts, and everyhting all that surrounds M.J. but we need to remember that this person did good in his life. How many of us can say we changed someone's life for the better?

Patrick

20,000 miles away in the deep of Africa,21 years ago a ten year old listens to "We are the world".Today am crying in my living room in Las Vegas to the same song watching the M.J memorial....Love u michael may your soul R.I.P.

Connie

It's unfortunate that MJ has passed, but, he's another person that did drugs & has suffered the consequences of such!!! The media has kept up this charade & it's not right!!! They didn't do this much when Elvis died!!! Why do we have to be subjected to this media circus, constantly-you'd think the president died!!

Kim Brown

To the Jackson family. I would like to express my deep sympathy at the sudden loss of Michael. To his mother. I can't imagine the pain you feel at the loss of a child. I am so sorry and I have your entire family in my prayers that GOD will give you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Carol Hale

This is to his beloved family:
Michael was great and loved by all around the world. He will always remain in our hearts and make us remember his kind ways.
Even from a distance, his light always showed us things inside of ourselves that we never really knew. God loved him and put him here to show us so many things. He is now living with God. May you gain peace and understanding as life continues. May God heal your hearts and give you peace from his passing.

Not a Fan

Gee, Ron, thanks for that wonderful memory. But did you wear the pajama bottoms as a tribute to Michael Jackson, or were you so drunk that day that you couldn't find your pants?

Wacko Jacko WAS once one of the most amazing talents we have ever encountered in our lifetime. But his talent will forever be eclipsed by his bizarre behavior, the allegations of child molestations, and his excessive plastic surgery, which so changed his appearance that he looked like an alien from another planet.

And are we to believe that those platinum blond, blue-eyed children are actually his? Even a high school course in basic genetics would discount that allegation.

Yes, Michael, do rest in peace. But please, to his fans: do not deify him. There was bad with the good, and he was, after all, just a man.

we love u micheal and its too bad i didnt have chance to see u in concert u r the greatest

Michael Jackson: His Music Lives On!

Today, I took a moment to mourn the loss of one of the last true artists of our time. At first it felt like a dream. We are talking about Michael Jackson….are you serious? Dead? This can’t be I thought to myself. I felt stunned and shocked in utter disbelief. This is the man that I have grown to love. I’ve listened to almost every song, knew all of his lyrics watched every video/movie, etc. I’ve viewed previous concerts one in Budapest and the other in another country I can’t recall. His music penetrated my soul and I was eternally grateful for getting to know Michael Jackson through his music. The man was the ultimate trend-setter, he set the standard for how music should be represented. He was the man that showed people what swagger was all about, and through his music and his dance steps you could see the swag. I was unable to attend his concerts and always wanted to, however; I did have the opportunity to meet his mother Catherine and his brother Jackie and on a separate occasion I had an opportunity to meet the man behind Michael Jackson…Joseph. I was blessed to be in the same room as his relatives and my condolences go out to his family and friends. I am deeply saddened by their loss and my prayers are with them in this difficult time. One thing I could say about Michael, is that his music was inspirational, entertaining and real. Although, I didn’t know him personally, the one thing I do know is that his music will forever be in my heart. Yesterday, they were showing a tribute to Michael and they played all of his music videos, so here I am sitting on my couch mourning the loss of Michael, while watching one of his videos and he did something in the video, I can’t remember what it was but it was funny and so I’m sitting up there crying and laughing at the same time. This showed me that his life should be celebrated, stop crying, he’s in a better place now. This man has accomplished more things than any other artists. He was put on this earth to sing about the issues of this world, sing about what came from his heart. What I love about Michael is that when it came to performing or putting a CD out, he always gave his fans 100%, he maintained professionalism, he made sure that every dance step was tight. He wouldn’t give his fans anything less than his absolute best. What upset me the most is the media’s two faced views on whom they thought Michael Jackson was when in fact they didn’t know anything about him. All they knew were the rumors, regardless of all that, you can’t erase the fact that he was a brilliant, fascinating, gifted, genius that was taken from us too soon.
I remember when I was a child sitting in my mother’s living room I was looking at an 8-track of Michael Jackson’s “Off The Wall” in his memorable poster outfit with the yellow vest white sweater. I was too young to remember any of the songs on there, however; I do remember the title song “Off The wall.” When I first heard the news of his passing, several songs were playing in my mind by him both old and new. When I began to really appreciate his music was when his song “Beat it” came out. In that time I thought that song was off the hook. I often tried to imitate his award winning dance moves. We instantly knew that Michael Jackson was not just a fly-by-night artist, here today and gone tomorrow. This artist stood out from the rest of the artists that were out, he was a risk taker, he expressed his true feelings through his music, it wasn’t just an act, however he was portrayed in a song, he made sure that you believed his every word and the meaning behind those words. His energy was phenomenal. Michael has created dance moves that the world has never seen before, beginning with his epic Moonwalk. His dancing made him appear to be untouchable, his creativity was unbelievable. Throughout the years I had watched Michael’s music progress, in so much, he kept his fans wanting more. Many artists of today have gotten the majority of their dance steps from imitating him. How many of you remember his “Smooth Criminal” song where he was dressed as an old school gangster, where he was standing in the midst of his crew and they stood straight up, and leaned all the way to one side and repeated the same step to the other side. The dance step was ingenious, till this day I haven’t seen anybody try to do what he has done. He made dancing look effortless, it came natural to him, you could tell that he was destined to do music ever since he was a little boy. I was watching the news yesterday and they were showing old performances of the Jackson 5 and you would see Michael in the front giving his all and feeding off of the energy from the audience. You could tell he was made for the spotlight. I can’t tell you what my favorite Michael Jackson song is because there are so many. However; my favorite albums of his are; Thiller, Bad and Dangerous, as far as a favorite song and if I had to narrow it down to just one, I would have to say “Remember the Time” on the Dangerous CD. I felt that the song and video were explosive, he had excellent choreography in the video, and the song was the type of song that you had to dance to, you just couldn’t help it.
I always thought that one day I might be able to see a Michael Jackson concert in person, or at least get to meet him just to say “thank you for giving us such good music to listen to. Thank you for working so hard just to give us the best performance we had ever seen.“ Michael made sure that he gave his fans exactly what they wanted in an artist. His music was also inspirational starting with “Man in the Mirror” To “Heal the World.” He showed us his dangerous side and he also showed us his peaceful side which is the side that showed his position on unity and equality. Michael Jackson is a man I hold in high regard above any other artist, there is no comparison really. Rest in Peace Michael Jackson may your music and legacy live on in the hearts of every generation, young, old, black or white and everyone in between. We love you and we will miss you.

Michael's music was all about love, peace, healing the world, making it a better place. So how is it ok for these rappers now days to come up with dumb lyrics that do not make sense, and they are called super stars oh please.
MICHAEL JACKSON BLESS YOU.
YOU ARE THE BEST OF ALL TIME

INNOCENT-Michael, you lived on this planet as one of the few innocent humans in existence. Those who share that quality of INNOCENCE know the pain and suffering of being misunderstood, isolated, and persecuted for implicited trust and faith.

Now you are moving on to the LIGHT after your funeral service (where you will view & experience mortals interacting with their memories of you) . In the Universe of Light/Heaven-There are no experiences of the pain that you and us all that endured here, only pure LOVE AND LIGHT, in spirit. We release you to that place of LOVE AND LIGHT with all the human emotional experience.

We know you love us, here and on the other side, that your kind heart, have always forgiven those who couldn't bring themselves to love you as God loves us all.

I pray that those within your earthly circle, will find comfort, do the right thing for each other, and do the right thing for your fans and faithful audience. May ALL be Well!

I am 55 years old, a teacher, a parent, fellow sufferer, and grew up with you and your kind and wonderful family bringing a song in my heart. Thank You Michael, for all you are. May the planet become more enlightened because of YOU! May the planet begin to live, act, and thrive with that enlightenment.
God,Angels, and Spirit be with YOU,
Love,
